All the best and pics and videos from winter storm Jonas AKA the Snowzilla.

It was hard to miss Winter Storm Jonas, which rolled over the east coast of USA over the weekend.

While Australians were sweltering in the heat, a huge blizzard was dumping over 60 centimetres of snow on Washington DC, New York City, and plenty of places in between.

DC dubbed it “Snowzilla”. New York city went into lock down, the streets empty of cars after 2.30 pm on Saturday.

There was a lot of snow, and a lot of snow-tographers.

Also this basically looks like the most fun ever.

While social media was flooded with images and videos of people enjoying the snow, there was a serious side to the storm.

Overall, along the eastern seaboard there were 28 storm-related deaths. Thousands of homes lost power and there was serious flooding in coastal areas.

The clean up from the storm is likely to take some time.
