'I tried the hair dryer that promises to visibly reduce hair damage. Here’s my honest verdict.'

My current dryer looks like it belongs in a museum.

I purchased it for fifteen dollars from the chemist about twelve years ago. Not only is it noisy and scorching hot, but it also dries my hair slowly. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it makes my hair smell like burnt toast... it was definitely time for it to retire.

Things are immediately promising from the moment I unbox the Nanoe dryer and see one of its attachments is an oscillating quick dry nozzle – and let's not forget about the precision nozzle and diffuser that also come with it. This immediately sparks my interest because the different nozzles solve the problem of hot spots, where the hair can get overheated when the dryer targets particular spots. After a week, I am loving the quick dry nozzle. I can now dry my hair in less than 5 minutes, and if I don't plan on wearing it down or styling it, this is perfect. It leaves my hair smooth enough that I can simply clip it up and look professional, which is a real game-changer in my chaotic morning routine.

After two weeks, I have noticed a significant difference while drying my hair. My hair looked styled and fabulous, and I felt confident going into fashion events.

The verdict is in: I have visibly noticed less breakage while drying my hair, which gives me confidence that this dryer lives up to its promises. Not only that, but my hair feels much healthier overall. However, the real test came yesterday when I attended an outdoor show just before it rained. Typically, even the slightest hint of moisture in the air would cause my dry, damaged hair to turn into a frizzy disaster. But to my surprise, my hair stayed sleek and smooth all day despite the high humidity. That's absolutely unheard of for me.
