Melbourne Cup may now be a hazy distant memory, but we’re actually still only halfway through the Spring Racing season. Translation? There are still plenty more fabulous frocks to come.
While much fuss is made about the stylish Derby Day, Crown Oaks day is arguably the style highlight of the calendar. Known as Ladies Day, it’s meant to be all about elegance (yes, turns out it is possible at the races!) which is fitting given it’s also the day the national winner of Myer Fashions on the Field is crowned.
We sifted through the floral print and lace to find the best spring racing looks of the day – starting with Nadia Bartel‘s incredible headpiece, to Edwina Bartholomew‘s new brown(er) hair.

Metal headbands with flowers on them are not raceday wear. Girls everywhere were wearing them at Oaks. Its like they went to Kmart and bought a $10 headband. This was the birdcage as well. Wasn't loving it
They're all rather boring, except for the boater. And the little headbands are stupid.
