Nicole Kidman may just be the ultimate all-rounder. Take a peek at her many lives…
The humanitarian.
First off, the woman has good deeds covered.
She’s a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, having visited women’s shelters everywhere from Kosovo to Switzerland in this role.
She’s also a UNICEF Ambassador for Australia, an Ambassador of the Sydney Children’s Hospital, and has been patron of the Australian Theatre of Young People.
Seriously, we’re tired just writing this.
The country bumpkin.
You know when celebrities are all, ‘honestly, I hate wearing make-up and just love wearing moccasins at home?’ when 99% of the time, what they mean is “my PR woman has told me to plug the ‘normal girl-next-door’ line.”
Not Nicole. We can believe that she is most comfortable in jeans, as she’s claimed in interviews. After all, she’s based far away from the Hollywood limeligh t- on a huge farm 45 minutes outside Nashville, Tennessee with husband Keith Urban and the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
There, she grows enormous vegetables, hosts a weekly play group, shops at Wholefoods and Target, and goes to Spanish classes with daughter Sunday.
The bestie.
We think it’s pretty adorable that she’s been mates with fellow Aussie actress Naomi Watts, who attended the same high school, since they met waiting for an audition as teens. The duo went on to study together at the Phillip Street Theatre in Sydney and Watts later followed Kidman to Hollywood.
The two have been seen holding hands and walking arm-in-arm at glitzy award ceremonies – and even recently attended the Oscars in practically matching gowns.
