My deepest sympathy to all of Nick's family and wife and child. It must be unbearable news. Know there are thousands of us out there who have been following this story are sending you all love and support at this time
My dad at the age of 56 went missing on the Northern beaches of Sydney almost 4 months ago.... it was completely out of character also. The anguish of not knowing where a loved one is, is breathtaking. No sleep, no eating, anxiety, fear, sick with worry.... And one of the worse things for our family was the lack of help and support. We did not know where to turn to. The police in our opinion didn't seem to do much except "be on the look out for his vehicle". It was so frustrating. We didn't know how to get the media's attention... My family and I all turned into what seemed like detectives trying to piece all the pieces together....no bank activity for 12 days, we found out he had lost his job and feared for his mental state. Unfortunately the end to our story was not a happy one....a family member (not even the police!) found my father after searching and searching passed away in his car 13 days after we reported him missing. However, he had only been dead up to 24hrs before he was found.... there are 12 days completely unaccounted for and we have no answers. heart breaking. I don't write this to be negative or say that this case will end like my father's story, because I don't believe that at all...I think it is VERY positive that there has been a sighting and that the media and so many people are on the look out....
I wrote this to say to this man's family that my prayers are with you, and i KNOW you're anguish. I pray you find your Daddy & husband and have your christmas miracle.
