Whether they're grabbing groceries or heading to work, locals are very often seen creating trends instead of following them.

And while most of us aren't going to hop on a plane to the US to people watch, we can scroll through social media and the internet to see the pieces New Yorkers just can't get enough of.

Apparently, the 2010s are back because bomber jackets are having a moment, but not the short, cropped variety that we're so used to seeing. Instead, this new style is more masculine and oversized, perfect for wearing on top of thick jumpers and scarves.

I love a baseball cap, so it's making me feel validated knowing that New Yorkers can't get enough either. While baseball caps never really went away, there has been a massive resurgence.
