There are 4 weeks until Christmas, and Netflix is stuffing them with festive goodness.

Christmas is around the corner. And that means we can finally watch all of our favourite festive movies without judgement from family and friends. Thank you very much.

There are plenty of classics we will, of course, be rewatching. But thanks to Netflix, we’ll have some new films and TV shows to binge as well.

So without further ado, here are the five best Christmas-themed films and TV shows arriving on Netflix this December.

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish

Release date: December 1

Who remembers the 2004, teen rom-com, A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray? It was iconic.

If that’s anything to go by, we are in luck.

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish is the fifth installment to the series and follows the story of aspiring singer-songwriter, Kat Emerson.

Filled with holiday magic and a charming Santa, Nick (played by the gorgeous Gregg Sulkin), this film should get you feeling festive.

A Christmas Prince 3: The Royal Baby

Release date: December 5

First comes love, then comes marriage… then, well, you know how it goes.

In the third chapter of the delightfully cheesy Netflix Christmas movie series, A Christmas PrinceQueen Amber and King Richard are preparing to produce an heir.

Netflix has teased us with the synopsis saying, “It’s Christmas time in Aldovia – and a royal baby is on the way!

“Amber and Richard host royals from a faraway kingdom to renew an ancient truce, but when the priceless 600-year-old treaty disappears, peace is put in jeopardy and an ancient curse threatens their family.”

From what we can see there is romance, babies being born and a ‘Whodunit’ mystery; three things we are definitely here for.

A Family Reunion Christmas

Release date: December 9

Give us any of our favourite TV shows with a Christmas-themed episode, and we will watch it.

Family Reunion is no exception.

From the people that created Fuller House and Modern Family, the family-focused show is based on real-life situations that explore key topics and themes that are experienced within African American families.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict (you might remember her and her twin sister from Disney’s Twitches) stars in it, alongside a killer cast.

Even if you haven’t seen the show before, this festive episode is definitely one to watch.

Jack Whitehall: Christmas with my Father

Release date: December 12

After the success of funny guy Jack Whitehall’s docu-series, Travels With My Father (which is exactly what it sounds like), the father-son duo will be reuniting to perform on stage at the London Palladium for this festive Netflix special.

Although there sadly hasn’t been any information released about what the event will entail, we do know there will be celebrity guests and a musical performance.

If their last Netflix special is anything to go by, we will definitely be in stitches by the end of this one.
