When future generations study 2020 in history class, they’ll probably discuss just how strange it is that in the midst of a global pandemic, the entire world became obsessed with a “gay, gun-toting cowboy with a mullet” and his roadside zoo.
Because it really is… weird, huh. We can’t explain it, but all we know is we long for any Tiger King-related content – which is why we were so excited for the new episode Netflix released on Sunday.
The episode turned out to be a series of interviews between comedian and actor Joel McHale and various people related to Joe Exotic, including his ex-employees, ex-husband, and ex-business partner Jeff Lowe.

On one hand, we learned a lot – like how Exotic was terrified of the big cats he held captive and posed with – but on the other, the after show left us wanting… more. More difficult questions, more scrutiny of interviewees, more… Carole Baskin?
