Another month has come and gone which means only one thing: it is beauty roundup time! 

In September, the Mamamia team tried and tested plenty of new (and new to us) skincare, makeup, haircare and body care products that are getting us prepped and primed for the warmer months ahead.

Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation, $108.

"A bittersweet find for me! I went into Mecca to re-buy my ol' faithful Nars foundation. The woman working there recommended I try the Ellis Faas Skin Veil foundation as she thought it'd match my skin tone better - she was right. The colour is so much better for me and the coverage is perfect, I would say it's medium which is my preference, but easily buildable. The bitter part of this is that it's $108. Tbh Patch It Up Everyday Patches, $20.

Glo Skin Beauty Beta-Clarity AHA Clarifying Peel, $85.

"Peels used to scare me. Heaps. But then I started using Glo Skin Beauty's Hydra-Bright AHA Glow Peel during COVID and officially became a convert (I was obsessed and went through a bunch of their kits!). They recently dropped a newbie - Beta-Clarity AHA Clarifying Peel - and I couldn't wait to get it on my face. Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Concealer, $49.

"I just need to take a minute to tell you how bloody surprised I was that I liked this! My first impression was that it was much thicker and way more matte than I thought it would be - which immediately made me think it's wouldn't fare well with my dry skin. But I was wrong! It's lovely and lightweight and really brightening. A little goes a long way, but I haven't stopped using it since it landed on my desk! "I got bored the other day, so I decided to tint my brows - how hard could it be? Not hard at all with this kit. I read the instructions, mixed the two products together and left it on my brows for five minutes. My eyebrows are a light brown compared to my dark roots and now after tinting, they match.
