We’re sorry to inform you, January 2020 is now over.

Just like that, the first month of the year is done, along with roughly 93 per cent of your New Year’s resolutions. There is an upside, though, because it means we can finally talk about the products in this month’s beauty wrap up.

1. Clinique iD™ with Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing BB-gel, $45.

"I’ve only just started using this product and I'm completely obsessed with it. It feels like I’m just wearing a super moisturising cream but it changes colour to match my darker skin tone and leaves a perfect, dewy base. 2. Cancer Council SPF 50+ Moisturising Sunscreen, $14.50.

3. Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Colour in Deep Maple, $52.

"I'm a massive fan of Nudestix because I love me a multi-purpose beauty buy! This product does it all. I smudge a little around my eyes, dot it on my cheeks and finish with a swipe and blot on the lips. It gives the most natural tint and I find the burgundy complements my skin tone. 4. Ultra Violette Queen Screen SPF 50+ Luminising Sun Serum, $47.

"I was given the Ultra Violent Queen Screen for Christmas and have been using it every day since. It's an amazing silky consistency, doesn't have an offensive smell, and isn't pore-clogging and pimple-inducing, which is always a fear of mine with face sunscreen. 5. Westman Atelier Eye Love You Mascara, $95.

"I was recommended this mascara about a month ago as it's made without silcones, parabens, and all the bad things. I've had Blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid) in both eyes for about two years and this is the only mascara I've used that doesn't make my eyes feel itchy and red immediately! It thickens lashes without making them feel heavy, and lasts all day. The packaging is pretty fab too!!" - Isobel Paine, Strategy Manager.

6. Revolution Bake & Blot Powder in Translucent, $10.

"Big call, this is the best savey translucent pressed powder I’ve used. So luminous and brightening, and your makeup will last ALL DAY. It even comes in a large range of shades if you want to use it for coverage. My under eyes have never been happier." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

7. RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Modest, $55.

"I tend to find powder blushes the easiest so I usually stick to them. But considering it’s so warm out, I gave this cream blush a go and LOVED it. It’s super easy to apply and has the perfect colour that warms up both the cheeks and lips. Definitely my new go-to summer product." - Charlie Begg, Editorial Assistant.

8. Sunsense Lip Balm SPF50+, $5.95.

"There's not much to say, other than this is a brilliant lip balm with the highest sun protection you can get. It's clear and moisturising, and the texture is not too thick and not too thin. Take it to the beach or chuck it on over the top of a lip stain or lip liner. Just don't leave it in the car, OK?" - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

9. ASAP Firming Eye Lift, $85.

"This is ultra-hydrating and can be used all over the eye, including the lid, as it is not heavily perfumed. You can use this twice a day as it is light and will not clog the pores, it's excellent to restore plumpness and reduce fine lines for tired eyes. Plus, it sits well under makeup, which can be a problem with some eye creams I have used in the past." - Rebecca Sonnex, Senior Sales Manager.

10. Bourjois Healthy Mix BB Cream, $25.

"This product is what happens when a tinted moisturiser and a foundation make a baby. The slightly thicker formula offers coverage and evens out your skin tone with a juicy finish, but it only comes in three shades which is crap. Be warned, it has the texture and coverage of a foundation so you need less than you think. I reckon it's a dupe for the $69 NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturser."  - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

11. L'Oreal Paris Preference Permanent Hair Colour in No.102 Wild Ombre, $19.45.

"Against the advice of every hairdresser, ever, I roped in a friend to give me DIY baby highlights with a $20 box of dye. To be fair, I erred on the side of caution and only left the dye in for 35 minutes, versus the full 45. The results were super subtle and it adds some much-needed definition and movement to my otherwise black hair." - Jess Wang, Lifestyle Writer.

12. Bareminerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, $49.

"I’m loving the Bareminerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream at the moment. It’s easy to apply, which saves me so much time in the morning before work, and I feel radiant and glowy all day!" - Leah Porges, Podcast Producer.

13. The Inkey List Lactic Acid Face Serum, $18.

"Haven't used a chemical exfoliant before and aren't keen o dropping lots of cash? This guy was made for you. It's an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) serum that eats up dead skin cells for glowing skin, but it's nice and gentle as it's made with the mildest of AHAs, lactic acid." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

14. Stila Convertible Color Dual Lip & Cheek Cream in Camellia, $38.

"There is so much in finding your perfect nude, this is mine! Cream products are so versatile: blush, lip, eye and even to contour if I'm working quickly. Highly recommend!" - Kee Reece, Brand and Influencer Manager.

15. Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil, $72 for 12ml.

"I love a face oil and this rose and squalane combo is a delight, which makes the hectic price tag feel a bit better. I'll use it morning and night after my toner and find it's super quick to absorb and leaves a really nice sheen. If I'm bothered, I'll use the Kora Organics, Rose Quartz Heart Facial Sculptor, $72.95 in upwards lifting motions around my cheekbones, jawline and forehead, and do downward motions on my neck for extra lymphatic drainage. I feel like it makes my skin look glowier and more 'lifted' as a result but it also just feels pretty bloody great." - Jess Wang, Lifestyle Writer.

16. KOSÅS Kosasport LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm in Pulse, $26.

"Tinted lip balms are about all I can muster at the moment. This one is so nourishing but also plumping thanks to a touch of mint. This colour isn't as deep as it looks on the website, it's a rosy pink. I apply on my lips and then dab excess onto my cheeks." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

17. Australis Bite Size Bronze Eyeshadow Palette, $15.

"As a teen of the 90s I have a very soft spot for Australis. I feel like the brand fell off the radar for ages there, which was a shame, but by golly is it back. The pigment in these shadows is next level impressive, and this palette’s shade range is pretty much perfect. I used it yesterday to create a soft bronze eye. An excellent affordable Aussie beauty buy." - Leigh Campbell, Executive Editor.

18. Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother, $49.95.

"Full disclosure, I was sent this as a gift from a publicist friend after I told her I'm trying to give my thin, lanky hair an overhaul ahead of my wedding. I've been using Olaplex treatment for years, but this is the best complement to my haircare routine. You use the tiniest amount on damp hair and it combats frizz while it dries while adding a huge dose of moisture. 19. Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Hydrate Face Primer, $55.

"This launched in early Jan and it's a hydrating version of the brand's cult primer for people with dry skin. It you've ever found the original too matte or drying on the skin, this gives the same diffused primer base while keeping your skin hydrated." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

20. KORA Organics Gradual Self-Tanning Lotion, $59.95.

"As far as gradual tanners go, I’m a newbie. But I was shocked at how much colour I got out of this product after only one application! The colour is great, just be careful with all the usual fake tanning hurdles - wash your hands properly afterward and try to have a light hand around the ankles." - Lucy Neville, Executive Assistant.

21. Hourglass Arch Brow Micro Pencil in Ash, $43.

"I love this. I use the shade Ash, which is great for blondes because it’s COOL. That's... all I know." - Jessie Stephens, Assistant Head of Content.

22. BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector, $48.

"This is not a concealer but I love using it as one. If you've got fair to olive skin, you can pat this in the usual under eye places you'd apply concealer and blend out. The result is ridiculously brightening." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

23. Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise in Bette, $44.

"This. Is. Everything. I didn’t realise how much I needed this, and now I can’t live without it. It’s the perfect shade for me (really fair skin, green eyes) and it makes my eyes pop! It creates the illusion that you put a whole lot of effort into your look, but really it was a swipe-swipe-go situation." - Lucy Neville, Executive Assistant.

24. Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream, $104.

"I'd heard incredible things about this (based on Kim Kardashian and her makeup artist's favourite face mist), but I decided to try a sample first because, exxy. Luckily - or not so luckily for my bank balance - I adore this cream. It's rich and nourishing and gives skin an instant plumped and dewy appearance. It feels totally decadent and I can't wait to get my hands on the full-size version - the packaging is beautiful too." - Polly Taylor, Commissioning Editor.
