A Knight Before Christmas follows science teacher Brooke (Vanessa Hudgens) and a 14th-century knight called Sir Cole.

An ‘old crone’ transports Cole to 2019 where he needs to complete his ‘one true quest’. What is that? No one knows.

Brooke accidentally hits him with her car… which he calls a ‘steel steed’ and she believes he, a man dressed in armour and carrying a giant sword, is a cosplayer with memory loss. So she invites him back to her house to sleep.

Then, Brooke starts to wonder if he’s not a cosplayer… but a real knight.

If you like fantasy and fairy tales of the most imaginative kind, this heartwarming film won't disappoint.

Matilda

Matilda is a cult classic.

Based on one of Roald Dahl’s books for children and released 23 years ago, the film follows a young genius named Matilda (Mara Wilson) who navigates her upbringing with parents who despise kids, almost as much as they hate education.

But Matilda harnesses the power of telekinesis to protect herself and others as she discovers her true intelligence.

A Dog's Purpose

A Dog's Purpose follows the story of a dog who explores the meaning of life as he continues to be reincarnated.

The film sees him have a number of different owners, as he experiences love, loyalty and loss.

A Dog's Purpose is made for all you dog-lovers out there.

Holiday in the Wild

What would the Christmas season be without a so-bad-they're-good film?

Holiday in the Wild is just that.

The film stars Sex in the City star Kristen Davis as Kate, a mother of one, who was about to travel to Africa for her second honeymoon when her husband suddenly announces he wants a divorce.

After deciding to attend the safari regardless, Kate meets an elephant conservationist – Derek (Rob Lowe).

Gifted

Gifted follows the life of a prodigy, Mary, tangled in the complicated custody battle of her uncle and her grandmother.

Whilst Mary's uncle, Frank, desires a normal life for her, his mother, Evelyn, has other plans for her genius brain. And so their tension is born.

Starring Chris Evans and Lindsay Duncan, the 2017 film is both heartwarming and heart-wrenching.

Wonder

Based on the popular book of the same name, written by R.J. Palacio, Wonder tells the story of August "Auggie" Pullman, a fifth-grade student living in Manhattan with his mum Isabel (Julia Roberts), his dad Nate (Owen Wilson), and his big sister Olivia (Izabela Vidovic).

Auggie was born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school. But at the start of the film, Auggie goes to school for the first time as he navigates the playground and forms friendships with his peers, and has playdates for the first time.

It is the kind of movie that will pull at your heartstrings and ultimately make you feel a whole lot better about the human race.

Holiday Rush

A widowed radio DJ loses his job just before Christmas time, creating complications for his family during what is meant to be a relaxing time.

The father needs to tighten the reigns on his family’s luxurious life.

This heartwarming flick is a must-watch.
