In the past when I’ve tried certain makeup and had a bad reaction, the calming and soothing treatments I was recommended to use were natural. Which got me thinking, maybe I should just make the complete switch to “natural” beauty products.
How hard could it be?

I started swapping out all of my skincare and makeup from the day that the decision was made. OUT with the traditional ‘chemical filled’ products with unpronounceable ingredients. IN with the botanical ingredient rich ‘natural’ products.
After a little research and a lot of review reading, these are the products that I settled on for my new natural products line up. (Post continues after gallery.)
My natural products
It took about a month to get my routine of products down pat. That’s when I really started to see the benefits.
The good.
The smell of these products is incredible. No more fake fragrances hanging around. If you’re a fan of florally green scents like me, you’ll love this stuff.
I got really into facial oils. Like REALLY into them. Due to a lot of the natural oils that I was now using, my face began to produce less oil of its own and my face felt so much more hydrated, soft, and supple.
Of the ‘all natural’ products that I used, I found face cleanser, serum, moisturiser, and body moisturiser, the most effective by far. They worked just as well as any other products I’ve used before. The one unique added benefit that they have though, is that feeling of knowing my skin is absorbing beautiful and natural botanical extracts instead of unknown, unpronounceable synthetic chemicals.
