Weddings can be crazy expensive things to pull off, but there’s one expense that people can get quite heated about.
And that is, how much should you really pay for a wedding dress?

OK...........I know that people these days pay over $2,000 for a wedding dress.....................plus I know that people also pay thousands to stage the whole wedding.
Here's my tip.
Start looking for the most beautiful, flattering dress that you can afford, that you love - but don't tell the shop that it's for your wedding.
The second you say WEDDING - their eyes will light up and "ker-ching !".
'Same applies to the bridesmaid dresses.
I find it really hard to believe that only bridal boutiques sell the best outfits.
If you take my advice you really will save THOUSANDS.
Same applies to most of the other features of a wedding.
Photography...............In your circle there will probably be at least a couple of enthusiastic, creative amateurs...............Even photos taken on Iphones can be beautiful & memorable.
Catering.............shop around ( or ask around ) for creative, low-cost catering.
Wedding Cake.............I bet there'll be someone in your circle who's a cracking cook - make it worth their while but I betcha' it'll cost a fraction of a professional one.
Venue..................what about a quirky church / scout hall ?
Decorate it with fairy lights and flowers and it will look magical.
Seating & tables - hire those I guess.
Music - either hire an experienced DJ or scout around for a small band ( or duo ) because there are SO many musicians desperate for work.
Don't forget to feed them.
Have my suggestions just contributed to the wrecking of the "Wedding Industry "?
'Don't care...................I'm so sick of seeing my friends ( and their poor parents ) putting themselves in disgraceful financial suffering over a day that should be carefree & debt-free.
