Morgan Freeman has been caught on camera making disturbing comments to female journalists.

Evidence of Morgan Freeman’s alleged inappropriate behaviour towards women has emerged in a video shared by Entertainment Tonight.

The resurfaced video comes just one day after eight women accused the 80-year-old actor of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour in a CNN exposé.

The Academy Award-winning actor was caught on tape making creepy comments towards Entertainment Tonight reporter Ashley Crossan in 2016, while Freeman was promoting his film London Has Fallen.

In the footage, Freeman is seen asking Ashley Crossan whether she would “fool around with older guys”.

“Are you married?” Freeman asked Crossan.

After she replied no, Freeman asked if she would fool around with an older man.

“I’m just asking,” he said.

As the interview finishes up and they shake hands, Crossan tells him it was a pleasure.

Freeman responded: “Mine. Look at yourself.”

In another clip shared by Entertainment Tonight, Freeman makes further uncomfortable comments in an interview with ET author, activist and special correspondent for ET Janet Mock, who he spoke to in 2015 while promoting his film 5 Flights Up.

During the interview, Freeman told Mock, “I don’t know how you all manage to do that all the time… You got a dress halfway between your knee and your hips, and you sit down right across from me and cross your legs.”

Speaking to ET about the 2015 interview, Mock said: "This interaction is an exhibition of the casual nature at which men in positions of power believe that everything belongs to them, including women’s bodies as they’re merely just trying to do their job."

“I was deeply disappointed that someone who was seen as America’s grandfather was susceptible to such disturbing behaviour and felt comfortable enough to do that as cameras were rolling, and that he could take claim of my body and look at it before even looking into my eyes," she added.

In the CNN exposé released yesterday, eight women including female production staff and female reporters accused Freeman, one of Hollywood's biggest actors, of sexual harassment.

A young production assistant, who has since left the film industry, allegedly accused Freeman of frequently making inappropriate comments and touching her on the set of Going in Style in 2015.

"It was constant comments about the way I looked," the anonymous woman told CNN.

The woman, who was in her 20s at the time alleged that Freeman "kept trying to lift my skirt up" and asked her if she was wearing underwear.

She says that Freeman did not stop this behaviour until his co-star Alan Arkin told him to stop.

A female senior production member who worked on the set of Freeman's 2012 film Now You See Me said some women on set would avoid wearing fitted clothes to avoid Freeman commenting on their bodies.

“He did comment on our bodies,” she said. “We knew that if he was coming by… not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that fitted.”

Freeman issued a formal apology hours after the CNN article was published writing in a statement: “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy."

“I apologise to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected – that was never my intent.”
