Just goes to show how tough it is out there.
I know it's a bit off track but I could not help but think that the explorer James Cook traveled those same seas on his third voyage - and that was in a wooden sailing ship without any rescue options if they got into trouble. Impressive.
Reminds me of my first cruise on Fairstar the fun ship. It was rough....
