Mischa Barton shot to fame in her role as the young and preppy Marissa on the O.C. And as most celebrities do, she ran out and bought a $6.4 million property with her hard-earned paychecks. But despite being a promising young actress, Mischa’s career has been facing some tough times lately.
People reports Mischa may be under threat of foreclosure, due to being 5 months behind on her mortgage payments. Mischa bought the home in 2005 for $6.4 million, reportedly taking out a $4.2 million loan to buy it.
Mischa’s Spanish-style gated home spans 7,607 square feet and boasts 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a pool, courtyard and a 3,000 square foot guesthouse.
