It’s Jackie and Kelso from That 70s Show all over again. Except possibly even cuter, now that the actors are in a real-life loved up relationship.
Mila Kunis, 30, appears opposite her husband-to-be Ashton Kutcher, 36, in an episode of Two and a Half Men. And they’ve still got that magical on-screen chemistry.
But best of all? The super-famous Hollywood couple – who are expecting a child together – poke gentle fun at their own relationship in this scene. Mila plays a character called Vivian, a ‘free-spirited gypsy’ who has the hots for Ashton’s character, Walden. But there’s a major obstacle: Walden is about to propose to someone else.
“I bet you only date hot actresses,” Mila says.
“God no, I’d never date an actress. They’re all crazy,” Ashton replies.
See what they did there? Because Mila’s an actress? And he’s dating her in real life?
Here’s the excellent little scene, in which they parody their famous-person relationships kind-of perfectly…
The Kutcher-Kunis romance began officially back in 2012, though the couple have been friends for years and years. She was spotted wearing an engagement ring back in February, which set everyone off predicting their engagement.
Not long after the couple confirmed their engagement news, we found out that Mila’s pregnant. Which is brilliant news, because the world needs a Kutcher-Kunis baby.
These two are one of our favourite celebrity couples. Partly because they do awesome things like film scenes together like this one. But also because they embrace the beautiful cosy laziness that most normal-people couples adore. “We have a thing called white T-shirt night and it’s when you wear jeans and a white T-shirt and you go on a date,” Mila told Cosmo. “Nothing fancy, it’s just something that you love to do. And whether that’s bowling or dinner or going to a cheese shop and have some wine or walking around. I think that’s just the best thing to do — and sometimes it’s just nice to stay home.”

For me that show lost it ages ago and I'm not judging anyone who watches it, but I find the humour of shows likes this (I include 2 Broke Girls as a comparison) to be aiming at a less intelligent audience. There's no smarts to this. BUT (and note that's a capital B, U and T type but), this scene is pretty good and I actually made a little laugh noise at one of the jokes (out loud I might add).
Okay so parodying real life connections between the actors of set as characters on set isn't real intelligent and clever humour, but I like these two. I really hope they are destined to be together forever and I wish them all the best for their pending nuptials.
