Canadian singer Michael Buble has admitted he was called out by Kris Jenner after he made a joke at her daughter Kim Kardashian’s expense last year.
The 41-year-old was filming his show Michael Buble’s Christmas in Hollywood in 2015 when he joked that the reality star would be joining him onstage.
He allowed the audience to feel a brief rush of excitement before he said: “No, I’m just messing with you. That b*tch is never coming on my stage.”
When Buble further explained the story to the Watch What Happens Live audience, it was revealed the comment was intended as a larger dig at himself.
“[Kris Jenner] gave me a ton of sh*t about a joke I made about Kim Kardashian. I had to explain it to her, and we had talked about comedy before … It’s a big part of what I do,” he said.
“I was on stage, and I made a joke and it was just kind of after the [sex] tape, the Ray J. thing.
“I said, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage, Miss Kim Kardashian.’ They [the audience] all thought she was coming, and I was joking, and she wasn’t.”
“And I was like, ‘No, I’m just messing with you,’ and I said, ‘That bitch is never coming on my stage. Because she didn’t put me in that video. I’m so jealous of Ray J.’ I was putting myself down.”
It seems the Jenner family matriarch had only heard the beginning of the joke and hadn’t found it quite as funny as he intended.
I’m not sure I do either.

I don't think Michael Buble is the nice, sweet and innocent dude that he likes to come across as. I mean, referring to a woman, regardless of who she is, as a bitch? Really? All class right there.
