Happy Sunday!
Welcome to Mamamia Rogue’s Shocker, Hero and Whinger of the week.
Here’s how it works: each week we pick the biggest Shocker, Hero and Whinger from the last seven days. Shocker is whatever moment or person who left us with our mouths so wide open that we potentially swallowed a fly. Hero is whoever won the week by being 100 per cent awesome. And Whinger? Well that’s anyone who threw a tantrum that would make a four-year-old proud.
Without further ado, let’s get started.
Hero(es) of the Week of the week goes to…
Everyone at Perth’s Stirling Station when this happened.
The commuters travelling from Perth’s Stirling Station to the CBD at 8:50am on Wednesday morning are our Heroes of the Week.
Check them out as they MOVE A TRAIN to help a fellow commuter who got his leg stuck in the gap.
(The guy who fell through the gap reportedly just caught the next train into work. So, if the commuters who helped him are our Heroes of the Week, he must be eligible for a Mamamia Rogue Knighthood or something.)
Shocker of the Week goes to…
Senator Eric Abetz on The Project
So… a senior government minister appeared on national television and publicly – and incorrectly – defended a link between abortion and breast cancer this week. Our Publisher Mia Freedman was interviewing him.

I have to admit that the volunteer stepping in as Queen Elsa didn't really look the part, but if she's a volunteer and it's a free event.....
Free events at shops are usually there to get people in to buy products. She doesn't look like Elsa at all
If I go to a book store, it doesn't take much to get me to buy products to be honest and no she doesn't look like Elsa, but kudos to her for at least stepping in for the original volunteer.
I didn't read about the other things MM posted that GUEST below mentioned.
Me, too. I love book stores.
The Abetz clanger was a good one, but I think George Brandis gave him a run for his money with the "Metadata is the digital address, not the web address but the ip address which is the digital address which is the web address but not the url which is different to the ip address that's the digital address that takes us to the web address that isn't the ip digital metadata internet url address of the website address that's only digital but is also the same as the web address that it isn't the same thing as, but different. Clear?" nonsense.
