Meshel Laurie made-over her backyard for her twins' birthday party. And it's amazing.

“Outsource, outsource, outsource!”

Those were the words Meshel Laurie used to introduce the stunning results of her backyard makeover to her fans on Facebook.

Explaining she has “zero time for household maintenance” because of her “workaholic” nature, Laurie revealed she had outsourced almost every aspect of her backyard makeover – which was finished just in time for her twins’ seventh birthday party over the weekend.

The comedian and personality said her backyard went from "disused veggie patch to kid heaven" with the help of some tradies and "turf, timber and a ton of crap from Bunnings and Kmart".

Of course, the party didn't go off without a hitch — because when does an event you've spent months planning ever not fail spectacularly at some point?

Laurie revealed that just 15 minutes before their "11am disco party" was set to start, there was no power.

"Nicole [from Pink Zebra parties] had already picked up a generator, a portable air conditioner and ordered pizza and the party went off without a hitch!" she wrote.

"I can't remember the last time someone solved so many problems for me!! I could have cried with gratitude."

Of course, after months of hard work and planning, and a day filled with birthday celebrations, Laurie admitted she was enjoying "a very big glass of wine while admiring my back yard".

Fans were quick to praise the radio and television host for her decision to outsource the work and the amazing finished product.

"Wow what a massive transformation Meshel, it looks amazing!!! That cute little caravan is so adorable, I'm sure your children will absolutely love it!" wrote one fan.

Another commented that all "working parents should outsource as much household maintenance as they can".
