Melbourne Cup day has arrived. And whilst it’s supposed to be all about ‘the race that stops the nation’ and whether or not Gai Waterhouse will capture her first cup – we’re focused on where the real action is: the dresses.

Rachel Finch always manages to look incredibly chic no matter what she wears, however I think the real winner in the fashion stakes is Kate Waterhouse, she just knows how to do race wear
