Returning to Sydney to attend the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just recreated one of the most iconic photos of their royal tour.

This time last week, Meghan was snapped sitting front row in a sea of empty seats as she listened to her husband rehearse his speech for the opening ceremony of the games.

Now, the Duchess has taken her own photo of Prince Harry, as he rehearsed his speech for the closing ceremony.

The black and white photo of the prince standing in the centre of an empty stage was shared to the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace. “Getting ready for tonight’s @InvictusSydney closing ceremony, where we will celebrate the #InvictusGames competitors, and their friends and families,” the tweet read. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will both speak at the ceremony this evening.” The tweet credit the Duchess of Sussex with the photo.

Taking to the stage to deliver her own speech later in the night, Meghan praised the “camaraderie and close-knit community” created by the Invictus Games, which celebrates the sporting achievements of wounded, injured or sick servicemen and women.

“It’s such an honour to be here tonight with all of you and supporting my husband at the Invictus Games, which he founded four years ago,” she said.

“In a short span of time, the games have evolved into an international platform of some of the best athletics and sportsmanship you could ever witness, coupled with a camaraderie and close-knit community, which can only be defined as the Invictus spirit.”

Now can someone please give Meghan the password to the official Kensington Royal twitter account?
