Megan Gale has announced the arrival of her second child with partner Shaun Hampson.

Megan Gale has welcomed her second baby.

Australian model Megan Gale has revealed on Instagram that she and fiancé Shaun Hampson have added a fourth member to their family.

The pair welcomed their second child, a girl, earlier this week, Gale shared alongside a black and white photo of all four family members holding hands.

“Our darling little bun came out of the oven easier this week,” she wrote, referencing the couple’s adorable pregnancy announcement made back in April.

While the 42-year-old didn’t share any further details about her daughter’s birth, or her name, she said the baby girl was a “sweet little soul” who was “already so blessed”.

“Healthy as can be with a family that has fallen head over heels in love with you,” she wrote.

“A big brother that is already so attentive and protective, (who has also handled all these big changes like a boss), a Dad who is so smitten with you and that you already have firmly wrapped around your little finger.

“And myself, who’s been so lucky to have carried you in my belly for 9 months and to have had the pleasure and privilege of birthing you into this world (and can I just say… we nailed it kid).”

The new mum-of-two also shared that she was “committed” to “being the absolute best mother, friend and role model” for her daughter.

“Thank you for choosing me to be your Mama, my darling girl.”

Earlier this year, Gale revealed she had miscarried the couple’s second child in May 2016.

Speaking to InStyle Australia for their February 2017 issue, Gale said she just felt “nervous and horrible” on the day of her eight-week scan, knowing that something wasn’t right.

“I can’t put my finger on it—there was no physical change or a sign or symptom… [I wondered] if I was being overprotective and paranoid, or if something was wrong,” she said.

“I hopped up on the table and [my obstetrician] put the ultrasound on my tummy. He just kept moving it and not saying anything and I started to feel sick.

“He was quiet, and then he just said, ‘I’m so sorry, it’s gone.'”

Megan and Shaun are already proud parents to a three-year-old son, River.
