(Warning: SO NSFW.)
Ariana Grande has confirmed the hidden meaning behind her latest track “Side to Side”.
Until now, we thought the collaboration with Nicki Minaj might have been about a stringent exercise regime and that fact Gradne’s sticking to her man and “not listening to her friends”.
Actually, it’s about having so much sex, you can no longer walk straight.
(Sorry, there was only one way to break that to you).
Suddenly the film clip, of Grande leading a group of women in a bicycle spin class, makes sooooo much more sense. It’s not about a stationary bike. It’s about riding something else entirely.
The news broke on Wednesday when Lena Dunham’s boyfriend Jack clued her in.
Dunham (being all of us) tweeted her feels immediately.
Unlike all of us, however, Dunham actually received a response from Grande.
The singer songwriter confirmed the meaning during an interview with MTV News.
"That whole song is about riding leading to soreness," she explained. "Ride d--k bicycle' is the lyric, indeed.'
And now, when you go and review the lyrics (as we all know you secretly will), the true meaning becomes so clear, you'll wonder how you missed it in the first place.
I've been here all night
I've been here all day
And boy, got me walkin' side to side (side to side)
We're not sure how to react. So we'll let the internet do it for us:
