Thankfully, Network 10 have obliged, with Masterchef Australia 2020 returning to our TV screens on Monday night.

The new all stars format has welcomed back 24 of the best contestants from previous Masterchef seasons including Poh Ling Yeow, Hayden Quinn, Khanh Ong, Ben Ungermann, Reynold Poernomo and Callum Hann, to name a few, to battle it in the highest stakes competition yet.

Masterchef Australia also has three shiny new judges: Aussie chef Jock Zonfrillo, food writer Melissa Leong, and former Masterchef winner Andy Allen. Oh, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay also decided to show up for the Masterchef Australia premiere.

The first episode of the series premiered on Monday night and gave us everything we could’ve asked for. Enthusiasm. Delicious food. High fives. Tears. Deconstructed meals. And quite frankly, it delivered the kind of positivity we all need in our lives right now.
