Holy 1990s. The Bundy clan are reunited.
The last episode of Married… With Children aired in 1997, that’s 17 years ago (feeling old right?). Well now the Bundy family are back together to celebrate an achievement of their mum, Katey Sagal, or otherwise known as Peggy.
Katey was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, and her former cast mates all came along to celebrate with her. “This honour is humbling. Thank you all for the support along the way,” Katey wrote on Twitter.
Katey’s on screen daughter, Christina Applegate (Kelly) shared a lovely speech at the ceremony.
“I thought she was the coolest person I had ever met in my life. But what I didn’t realise is that that person was gonna become my mum. I spent more time with Katey and Ed and David than I did my own family … and I couldn’t be more proud of her, and I couldn’t love anybody more,” Christina said.
Her hilarious husband on the show, Ed O’Neill (Al) also tweeted “very proud to call (Katey) one of my best friends.”
And of course, David Faustino (Buddy) was in on the fun too.
