1. Apparently Married At First Sight’s Ines never has to work again thanks to Instagram.
Nobody particularly likes the idea of working five days a week for the rest of their life.
But Married at First Sight’s Ines Basic doesn’t have to worry, because she says she will never have to work 9-5 ever again.
Speaking to the Herald Sun, the 28-year-old said she had no plans to return to life as a legal assistant, thanks to her Instagram followers.
“I don’t need to,” she told the publication.
“I am really lucky that I will probably never have to go back to a 9-5 job. Instagram is huge, the power of Instagram is so massive. I just want to work for myself.”
Sign us up, then.
2. Fans think they’ve spotted a sign that The Bachelorette’s Sasha has split from his girlfriend Tori.
Um. It appears that the relationship between 40-year-old Sasha Mielczarek and his girlfriend Tori May may be coming to an end.
According to The Daily Mail, fans have spotted that the 33-year-old and 40-year-old have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
While an unfollow is usually indicative of a break up, that’s not the only evidence fans have found.
Tori hasn’t posted a photo with Sasha since February, and Sasha hasn’t posted a photo with Tori since January.
Mielczarek shot to fame in 2015 after meeting Sam Frost on The Bachelorette. The pair later split in 2016.
3. Sorry, Mindy Kaling won’t be sharing who the father of her baby is anytime soon.
Mindy Kaling gave birth to her daughter 18 months ago, but she won’t be telling us who the baby daddy is just yet.
Speaking to the New York Times, the 39-year-old explained that she believes it’s a topic she needs to discuss with her daughter before making the information public.
“My feeling is that, until I speak to my daughter about that, I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it. I’m very impatient, and having a baby requires an amount of patience that I was worried about. But they don’t tell you that the thing will look so much like you, and do things that are so sweet and adorable, that you’ll naturally not have the same impatience that you would have with a stranger or someone who works for you,” she told the publication.
Despite keeping the biological father a secret, The Mindy Project actress said that her The Office co-star B.J. Novak, who she previously dated, is the godfather – so there’s no complaints here.
4. Oh. It looks like no one is going to own up to that Game of Thrones coffee cup fail.
To be honest, we never thought we’d see the day that there would be an editing fail in Game of Thrones.
The cinematography is notoriously impeccable, but in multiple shots during episode eight of the final season, a Starbucks cup was spotted hilariously out of place in front of Dany.
While the editing fail went viral, there was one question of everybody's minds... who missed this?
Now, the director of the episode has removed all responsibility from himself.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, David Nutter explained that he had nothing to do with the coffee cup scene.
"The first thing I said was they had changed an angle of the take, so I wasn't there when they changed it, so I didn't blame myself, which was good. And then I looked to see if it was maybe mine — it wasn't," he told the publication.
"But I think the show is so damn perfect in many respects that people love to find the blemishes, it's just a little non sequitur that doesn't really amount to anything at all," he added.
Yep. That cup was definitely not part of the approved props.
We never took Dany for a latte girl. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
5. "Someone's in the house": The call David Campbell received from his wife while he was away.
David Campbell was stranded at LA’s LAX airport when he received a call from his wife Lisa.
The Today Extra host and performer had missed his connecting flight by 30 minutes. It was 9:15am LA time, making it just after two in the morning back home in Australia.
Six months prior, David, Lisa and their three kids Leo, eight, and twins Billy and Betty, four, had moved from Sydney to a house in the suburbs.
After being pressured by a “very persuasive” security guy who sounded like a “retired special forces guy in a TV movie,” the 45-year-old reluctantly agreed to install a security alarm in their new house.
It was this security alarm that woke Lisa, the Chair of Sydney’s Hayes Theatre Co, up at 2:13am that morning, alerting her that someone had broken into the house while she and the children were sleeping.
In an article for Stellar magazine, Campbell has written about what it was like taking a phone call from his wife and hearing the words “someone’s in the house”.
