The most unlikely Married At First Sight stars have been reunited.

They were the couple that split almost as soon as they were placed together, but it seems there’s no hard feelings between Married At First Sight‘s Craig Roach and Andy John.

The pair — who were the first gay couple to appear in the Australian version of the show — was snapped arm in arm and grinning alongside their MAFS co-star Jess at the fifth anniversary Diner En Blanc event in Sydney. Andy and Jess have remained friends since the season ended earlier this year.

The hairdresser uploaded the image to his Instagram account with the caption, “Wife meets husband”.

The unlikely mini-reunion comes after the pair appeared to be perfectly incompatible on the popular reality television series.

Craig, 41, abandoned Andy, 41, without notice during their honeymoon in Christchurch, New Zealand.

“I was so excited about the whole process, it’s probably the most exciting thing I’ve done in my life,” Craig said.

Andy told the cameras that Craig had taken his belongings and left while he was taking a shower.

"It would appear that Craig's left the house. Car's gone. I had an idea that he was going to leave. I had my shower, came out and went around the place to check whether he was here, whether his bags were here, but they're not," Andy said.

The pair met up later to discuss the breakdown and how it seemed to grow out of Andy's inability to meet Craig's desire for intimacy.

It's good to see the pair have been able to put their checkered time on the show together behind them.
