1. Filming for Married at First Sight 2020 got so out of control they had to take a break. We can’t wait.
The next season of Married at First Sight doesn’t air until next year, but from what we hear it could be the most drama-filled season yet.
An inside source supposedly told Hit Network’s Nick, Jess & Simon, that filming for the show was getting so out of control the producers needed to step in and call for a break.
“You wonder how loose it got, apparently, they’ve just started filming again after a two-week break because the producers were just like, ‘this is going too far, we need to resettle ourselves, take a two-week filming break and then work out how we can tackle the rest of the season,” the radio hosts explained after talking to the source off air.
“For them to go, ‘guys we need a two-week break,’ means whatever they [the contestants] did must be really bad.” Yep, we could be in for some more dinner party wine-throwing.
The source also claimed that the new season may see more couple-swapping.
Apparently, some contestants may follow in the ill-fated footsteps of cheating couples Ines and Sam, and Jess and Dan.
On a more concerning note, the source also told the radio hosts that a contestant needed to be checked into a rehabilitation centre.
“Apparently they’ve needed to check someone in [to a rehab facility] because they’ve gone so loose on the show that they were worried about their mental wellbeing,” the hosts said.
While we’re not sure if the inside information is true or not, we’re still excited for MAFS to return to our screens early next year.

2. “For his birthday. I will go into surgery.” The Bachelor’s Heather Maltman opens up about ‘her rock’ after being admitted to hospital.
If you cast your mind back to Sam Wood’s season of The Bachelor, you may remember former contestant and fan favourite Heather Maltman.
After appearing on the show in 2015, the 34-year-old actress and podcast creator found love with Matt Baker. A man who has become Heather’s “rock” since she’s been admitted to Randwick Hospital.
“This man has been sleeping on hospital floors for me and taking me to the toilet. And not left my side for days,” Heather wrote in an Instagram post.
Heather shared a photo of “one of the saddest moments” of their journey together.
“It’s his birthday. And for his birthday. I will go into surgery.
“He will wait by my side until I go under. And has been getting minimal sleep. He has been picking up my slack for work. And just been… f***ing everything to me.”
Heather didn’t give a reason as to why she’s been in hospital, but says she will share more information in her own time.
She also apologised to the 4,000 people who listen to her One Together podcast for not releasing a new episode this week.
Heather also shared a reminder for anyone else who may be going through a rough patch.
“Stay tough. You got this. Find those people who are your rock. And let them love you.”
“Just one more thing I love about us.” Kristen Bell doesn’t care she and Dax Sheppard don’t know their anniversary date.
Not many of us would openly admit that we don’t know our anniversary date.
In fact, not knowing – or remembering – your anniversary is kind of along the lines of forgetting your spouse’s birthday or pretty much any date pertaining to your child.
Some dates you should just know.
But somehow, The Good Place’s Kristen Bell and her husband, Armchair Expert podcast host, Dax Sheppard, have managed to make not knowing your wedding anniversary date cute as hell, because of course, they have.
The funny couple – let us not forget the time the duo created a music video for Toto’s ‘Africa’ while on holiday – recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, and neither remembered.
It was one of their grandmas who reminded them of the milestone.
Cue: Shock and horror.
But rather than cringe at the gaffe, the actress posted a candid note on Instagram, saying the couple don’t remember their wedding anniversary date but have been “living the celebration of our commitment every moment since”.
Which sounds like a very well crafted excuse but okay.
She continued, “I find when you are living with gratitude each moment, the dates become irrelevant. To get to wake up next to someone who has put hard work, respectful fights, patience, understanding and gratitude into your relationship is the definition of love.
“I will never remember the date of our anniversary @daxshepard, and I know you wont either. And thats just one more thing I love about us.”
And now we are taking back all our cynicism and wishing we didn’t know our own anniversary dates.
Oh. Love Island’s Vanessa Sierra says MAFS’ Jessika Power is “just trying to stay relevant”.
Well.
It would seem that the tension between Married at First Sight’s Jessika Power and Love Island’s Vanessa Sierra isn’t simmering down anytime soon.
After being eliminated on last night’s episode of Love Island, Sierra, of course, did the morning media rounds – a long-held tradition after being eliminated from a reality TV show.
And speaking to Now To Love, the eliminated brunette responded to rumours that Jessika Power would be entering the Love Island villa – someone Sierra seems to have a, erm, complicated history with.
Jessika reportedly told NW earlier in the week that she’s “itching to get in [the villa] so I can confront Vanessa and expose her for who she truly is.”
Vanessa's response? "I think those comments are very far-fetched and she's just trying to stay relevant. I heard from someone that she wanted to confront me but I've seen no sign of confrontation from her."
Yikes.
"When the Rhyce stuff happened [Vanessa dated Jessika's brother, Rhyce], I did reach out to her because I thought we were friends and she just ignored my message and then all of a sudden she's saying that she wants to confront me.
"I've waited for this moment so I don't really know what she's talking about."
Hmmm.
5. A very important and thorough investigation into which Bachelorette contestants are actors.
Breaking news: Some contestants on The Bachelorette may be there ‘for the wrong reasons’.
We feel shocked, devastated and betrayed.
We already know this year’s bachelorette Angie Kent has a history in entertainment: She made a name for herself on Gogglebox and entered the South African jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! before beginning her Bachie journey, but what if we told you she’s not the only one on the show with an interest in showbusiness?
It turns out a few of the men we’re watching compete for her heart have a history (or want to have a future) in acting and… we simply must investigate.
Let’s begin with Carlin (and his face), who you may have seen get a bit of extra screen time during the ad breaks courtesy of his appearance in Tramps the Store ads.
Also he 100% reused the free suit he got from the ad's fake wedding photoshoot for his Bachelorette red carpet debut, and we admire his thriftiness.
The Daily Mail reckon Carlin, whose occupation is listed as 'personal trainer' on the show, removed 'actor' from his Instagram bio and deleted a fan Facebook page before the series premiere.
He also removed his StarNow profile, used to advertise himself to casting agents.
FISHY.
