Sydney sparkled on Saturday night as Oxford Street lit up for the annual celebration of all things LGBTQI+.
About 300,000 revellers turned up – glitter and all – for the 42nd anniversary of the parade, which began in 1978 as a march and commemoration of the 1969 Stonewall Riots of New York.
From drag queens to Dua Lipa, police officers to bare bums, Sydney put on a spectacular, colourful and unforgettable show.
The official parade featured 200 floats, the majority advocating for equality of the LGBTQI+ community.
Oh. And Sam Smith and Dua Lipa headlined the performances, proving the event to be an internationally renowned affair.
