I’m Amy, Mamamia’s new intern from Adelaide. Don’t roll your eyes. Living in Adelaide is not that bad. We have CheeseFest and affordable rent. Things could be worse.
A little bit about me? I’m 22, studying a media degree (AND a law degree, because who doesn’t have one of those these days?) and like most people, my life seems way more sparkly on Instagram than in real life.
But the last few weeks I’ve been hanging Harbourside and boy does this part of the world have a lot to offer.
Last week the Mamamia team found the best way to deal with our Julia Day come downs and threw a party for The Bachelor finale.
BEN BUNDA from BUNDA DIAMONDS even came, so you could say I’ve even done a bit of celebrity spotting while I’ve been here.
I’ve also been frolicking around the city like your typical tourist, frantically taking photos of the Harbour Bridge (#nofilter), enjoying the culinary experience that is Messina Gelato at The Smooth Festival of Chocolate over the weekend and braving the crowds at Bondi Beach.
I have well and truly fallen in love with Sydney but sadly our romance is coming to an end this weekend when I fly home, so if anyone has any recommendations on what to see or do over my last few days, let me know!
Anyway, enough about me! Over to you- what’s happening in your world?

You know what's really annoying? When you spend time and effort replying to someone on Open Post and they don't respond- probably because it doesn't lend itself to a zingy one-liner but is real and genuine! Never again!
Sometimes you can forget you have posted something and don't check your ipad or pc for replies for a couple of days. Hopefully that's all it is. But that said, with the new disqus reply system it's pretty hard to miss!
Or when I gave advice to Zepgirl earlier in the day - really took my time with it - and then - even after publishing - it gets removed... and I have NO idea why?

Going to have a romantic weekend away in Melbourne with my husband at the end of this month, leaving the 4 yr old with his Nan and Pop. Yay, hoping some baby making action will ensue and be successful. Also, going to Tiffany's for a spot of shopping. Love me some Tiffany's. Although I think it's hubby's way of trying to make me a bit happier about not getting pregnant yet.
I want a romantic weekend in Melbourne, and I live here!
Have a great time, and just think, if you conceive your baby in Melbourne, you can name it Tiffany, Tiffany Victoria... lol.
Ha ha, I have already run Tiffany past my hubby as a potential for a girl! He isn't convinced...
