IT’S FINALLY HAPPENED.
The Married at First Sight intruders are here and it’s good timing considering… half the couples have already left.
Last week, Channel Nine teased the return of Elizabeth Sobinoff to the series and now, we’ve finally got to meet the other brides and grooms entering the experiment.
We watched the weddings of Lizzie and Seb and KC and Drew and um… so far, it looks like the experts haven’t totally fudged this.
The experts may have gotten this right, shocking precisely… all of us. Post continues below video.
Here’s what we know about the four newest faces around the MAFS dinner table.
Elizabeth Sobinoff
After appearing on Married at First Sight last year, Elizabeth Sobinoff has returned to the experiment.
Last season, Lizzie was matched with Sam Ball, who later cheated on her with fellow contestant Ines Basic. Sam also fat-shamed Lizzie just moments after meeting her and left the then-27-year-old alone on their honeymoon to (supposedly) attend his ex-girlfriend’s mum’s funeral.
Now, Lizzie hopes to have better luck in her second appearance on the reality show.
“I hope I can find someone that I can have a full-on relationship with. I’ve seen how people can connect through the experiment and I want that,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald.
On Monday’s episode, Elizabeth said her experience last year left her “questioning everything” about herself.
She found it hard to trust men, but thought returning would help her heal and grow.
Lizzie was paired with retired AFL player Seb Guilhaus for her second attempt at the experiment and honestly, so far, so good.
Last week, Who pointed out ~social media evidence~ that indicates Liz and Seb could still be together.
In recent months Liz and Seb have shared identical photos from a Sydney lookout point and photos from high tea at the same restaurant.
Interesting…
Seb Guilhaus
Seb Guilhaus, 30, is a former AFL player turned personal trainer and natural fitness model.
On Monday night’s episode, we learned Seb watched last year’s show and yet somehow he still… signed up. An interesting decision, to say the least.
Seb admitted he is a “big personality”, “fiercely loyal” and a “gentle giant”. So, tick, tick, tick. Maybe the experts haven’t totally screwed this one up.
He didn’t initially recognise his wife, but was happy with his match.
“I was shocked [when he realised who she was]… I watched her and I loved her. I thought she was fantastic and I was really attracted to her, and now somehow I’ve gone from watching this from the outside and it’s her. It’s crazy,” he said.
“The experts, spot on. They have matched me with someone who I think is totally compatible.”
Interestingly, Seb is also an aspiring actor (like um… almost all of his cast mates).
“I’ve tried working in pretty much most industries – banking, promotions, personal training, constructions,” he told The Advertiser in 2018.
“The only thing that’s been consistent has been my love of entertaining people and making people smile,” he added.
“I thought, ‘What encompasses all of that?’ and I came up with acting.”

KC Osborne
KC (Kasey) Osborne, 31, is a performer and singer who spent a decade dancing in Los Angeles.
She was in a girl group, a Pussycat Doll in a burlesque show, and regularly met celebrities, but felt like something was missing.
Dating in L.A was… not ideal, KC said, even though her past dates included athletes such as NFL player Danny Amendola and celebrities.
“I got to a point where I was just unhappy. My dreams weren’t fulfilling me anymore and I just realised I would never find love in L.A. and that’s when I said ‘I’m going to come back to Australia and hopefully meet Mr Right’,” she said.
So she… signed up for an experiment based on dubious ‘science’. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Since returning to Australia, KC runs dance/self-love workshops, titled You Got This.
KC has a history with reality TV. Back in 2012, she was rumoured to be appearing in Channel 10’s Jersey Shore-style show, The Shire. In the end, however, she didn’t appear in the show.
KC was matched with musician Drew, and they instantly seemed to have a spark at their wedding.
“I could feel some chemistry straight away,” she said.
“And when I kissed him, I got a little butterfly. I haven’t had that feeling in a while, I’m not going to lie.”
She thought it was a red flag that he lived alone with a single female housemate and was a 31-year-old single male… But then seemed oddly satisfied after he opened up about his previous engagement.
Drew Brauer
Drew Brauer is a musician, actor and model from Cairns, Queensland.
Brauer is also the founder of Australian suicide prevention charity, Kick On.
Brauer was almost married before. Four years ago, the 31-year-old was engaged to get married, before his fiance called off their engagement just eight weeks before their wedding.
“For a long time after that I just shut off, I wouldn’t let anybody in. If I met somebody literally the first thing I’d tell them was ‘It’s not going to go anywhere, because I don’t know if I have a heart anymore’,” he said.
But he since had a change of heart, and feels ready to give marriage a go again. With a stranger.
We don’t yet know how Drew’s journey on the show goes… but in an interview with the Cairns Post he admitted he probably wouldn’t do it again.
So that’s… concerning.
“I tried my hardest to go in with no expectations and not watching the show was a good way to do that. I hadn’t seen an episode until I was down (in Sydney for filming),” he said.
“Totally separate from the relationship, the show was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life – the whole filming process, how that works, being away from everybody and not being able to tell anybody.
“I definitely don’t think I would go on another reality TV show. It was pretty full-on.”
