'You are a f**king d**khead.' The 6 wildest moments in MAFS dinner party history.

Tonight is Married At First Sight's first dinner party of 2023 and we are expecting nothing less than a tasty entrée of DRAMA, a hearty main course of TEARFUL ACCUSATIONS, and ending with a delicious dessert of MORE DRAMA. All this will of course be accompanied by DRUNKEN YELLING and FINGER POINTING.

There truly is nothing like a MAFS dinner party... as long as you're not one of the guests.

So in honour of the ridiculousness that is to come, here's a look back at the wildest moments in MAFS dinner party history.

The dinner party that began it all (2017).

Although MAFS began in 2015, it wasn't until 2017 - season 4 - that the reality TV show became the juggernaut it is today. The first three seasons featured earnest people who actually wanted to find true love, imagine that. The couples in those seasons didn't meet each other for a long period of time, if at all.

But in 2017, someone at Channel Nine had a brilliant, if simple, idea: Why don't we get all the couples together as soon as they're married (so they have no real time to get to know each other), ply them with alcohol and not so much food, sit them at a communal table, and just see what happens?

Well. What happened was that everyone had arguments with each other, got into each other's business and then talked over one another. Someone was so annoyed that they left. Someone burst into tears. Someone flirted with someone else's husband.

If you listen closely enough, you can hear the MAFS producers cheering with glee in the background.

The aftermath of Dean and Davina's cheating scandal (2018).

Partner-swapping happens so often in MAFS now that it's pretty much a given, but back in 2018, when we were all young and innocent, it had never happened. Until Dean, who was paired with Tracey, and Davina, who was paired with Ryan, cheated on their respective partners with each other and wanted to swap.

Dean then changed his mind, and went back to Tracey, leaving Davina devastated. Tracey forgave Dean, but as for the rest of the MAFS cast... let's just say it made for a very uncomfortable dinner party.

Everyone was on Ryan's side when it came to the Dean vs Ryan/Davina/Tracey debate, and they showed it.

"Tell me, what have I done mate?" Dean said to Ryan. 

"I don't need to tell you a f**king thing mate," replied Ryan.

At the end of the night, fellow contestant Telv angrily said to Dean, "Mate, I'm a very good judge of character and you are a f**king d**khead... Now get out of my face, you’re f**king pissing me off."

Martha throws a glass of wine at Cyrell (2019).

Who could forget this one? Arch-enemies Martha and Cyrell were, well, arch-enemies, and it came to a head at one of the dinner parties.

Cyrell, who had told Martha's partner Michael that he had "no balls" when it came to Martha, was sitting down at the dinner table talking when Martha concocted her perfect revenge.

She said to fellow contestant Ines: "I'm going to pour my drink on her! I am." And she did.

Oops.

As you can imagine, there was a lot of screaming afterwards. Cyrell ran after Martha and tossed a glass of red wine all over her red dress.

So, I guess it was a tie?

Hayley throws her poo toothbrush at David (2020).

I hope you're not eating as you're reading this because things are about to get pretty gross.

Like many MAFS couples, bride Hayley and groom David initially got on very well. Two seconds later, they were arguing ALL THE TIME. One of their arguments culminated in David secretly taking Hayley's toothbrush and using it to scrub the toilet, which had, um, some of Hayley's "fecal elements" in there.

When Hayley found out days later, she was, as anyone would be, FURIOUS. She'd been using a "poo-laden" toothbrush for five or six days. 

At the dinner party, things exploded. David said it was a "practical joke", but no one else thought it was funny.

Hayley then brought out her toothbrush (ewww) and said, "Every dog has their day."

She threw it at David, and stormed off.

Sam saunters into the dinner party after attending "funeral" (2020).

After telling his new wife Elizabeth that he needed to attend his ex-girlfriend's mother's funeral, Sam left their honeymoon and cut off all communication. She called and texted, but he did not respond.

At the dinner party, Sam turned up unannounced, casually saying, "Honey, I'm home," and kissing Elizabeth on her cheek as though nothing had happened.

Elizabeth was thoroughly unimpressed and questioned why Sam didn't contact her, even though she'd left him a voicemail. Sam responded that his phone didn't have the ability to pick up voicemails... to which she promptly rang him and it went to voicemail.

LOL.

Olivia reveals Domenica's OnlyFans account to... everyone (2022).

With no love lost between Olivia and Dom, Olivia decided to tell the women about Dom's OnlyFans page, which meant that in five seconds EVERYONE knew.

Idiotic Cody then told Dom at the dinner party, "We've all seen an image of you pretty much naked on a couch." 

Dom's then husband Jack said he didn't care.

But Tamara did. "If you decide to put something like that out there, you have to own it. You have to deal with the repercussions and these are the repercussions - people are gonna talk about it and show each other those kinds of photos, it's what happens in the real world."

Dom tried to stand up for herself. "... The issue I've got here is I don't know how you thought that was any of your business to spread that around," she told Olivia. "If people wanted to Google me, they could Google me. But you clearly sent that - and that's gossip."

"I just mentioned it," Olivia replied. "It didn't come with any malice or judgment or anything. No judgment, girl, it's 2021, you can do what you want with your body."

Except, of course, there was a WHOLE lot of judgment.
