We are just days away from another season of singles marrying complete strangers and (hopefully but unlikely) falling in love with them.

Yup. Married At First Sight is coming back.

The infamous social experiment will kick off on January 29 with 10 couples from around Australia, and just like last year, Nine are promising a rollicking good time – or at very least, a cheating scandal we can obsess over.

We've been told season 11 of Married At First Sight will deliver "a fresh take on the series" with more brides and grooms from different backgrounds, age ranges and sexualities (eek, not anymore...) than we've seen in past seasons.

So instead of a bunch of fiery twentysomethings, we'll be getting singles with ages spanning 28 to 62... with quite a few falling into the 30s-and-up age bracket.

The series will welcome back certified sexologist Alessandra Rampolla alongside relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, who revealed her colon cancer diagnosis earlier this year. 

And plenty of our favourite parts of the experiment will be returning, too – including explosive dinner ceremonies, Alessandra's famous Intimacy Week, Home Stays (when couples travel to meet each other's loved ones), and even the Couples' Retreat (which, based on previous seasons, is always make or break for the newlyweds).

The cast list has officially dropped. Here are all the brides and grooms in season 11 of Married At First Sight Australia.

Andrea, 51.

A single mum of two adult children, Andrea ended her most recent relationship after realising she was a victim of gaslighting – a term she learned all about on Married At First Sight.

Cassandra, 29.

Administration Officer, Qld.

Cass has struggled to find a meaningful relationship since the loss of her first love. As she approaches her 30s, the Queensland-based bride is excited to start a family.

Eden, 28.

Originally from Adelaide, Eden has struggled to deal with homesickness in her new state of Queensland. Thankfully, she has her furry friend Cub for company! She's been single for three years after her last relationship ended because her partner cheated with her best friend.

Ellie, 32. 

Registered Nurse, Qld.

One of three sisters, Ellie is a family-oriented person who cannot wait to start having children of her own. She's dealt with bad relationships in the past, including an ex who cheated on her. As a result, she had to cancel her wedding just a month before the big day.

Lauren, 32. 

PR & Marketing Consultant, WA.

Lauren looks to her parents for inspiration on lasting love, as they've been married for 40 years. She's been single for six months and is ready to get back in the dating scene again.

Lucinda, 43.

As a marriage celebrant and someone who runs a speed-dating company, Lucinda has seen lots of love in her life. Now she's finally ready to walk down the aisle herself!

Natalie, 32.

Tori, 27.

Tori says she's after an alpha male who is not intimidated by a strong woman. In her own words, she herself is a "bulldog" who doesn't "do compromise". Ah. Good luck, grooms.

Ben, 39.

Tour Guide, NSW.

Yet to find the one, Ben says he is "picky" when it comes to finding a partner (hmm... you don't say?). He hates "vanilla", gets bored easily and has what he agrees might be unrealistic expectations when it comes to the women he dates.

Which makes him the perfect candidate to marry a stranger.

Collins, 28.

Executive Assistant, NSW.

Collins might be awkward, but he sure is a chatterbox, and he enjoys making people happy (his words, not ours). 

He hasn't had much of a dating life, unfortunately, and he's never had a girlfriend.

Jack, 34.

Personal Trainer, Qld.

Jack doesn't have many requirements in a partner, only that they are: glamorous, fit, with a nice smile, tanned and ideally brunette.

He wants patience, too. 

Oh, and someone who is understanding, because his life is extremely structured and controlled.

Jayden, 26.

Professional Kickboxer, Qld.

Remember Mitch Eynaud from 2022's Married At First Sight? Well, Jayden is his brother. (Can you tell?!)

Unlike Mitch, he's allegedly focused, disciplined and obsessive. He likes to be busy every moment of the day. He likes order. 

And he looks like he will enjoy getting on all of our nerves as the season unravels.

Jonathan, 39.

Health Business Owner, NSW.

From serving as an infantry soldier, to becoming a concreter and a financial adviser, Jonathan has worn a lot of hats. 

He says he's still single because he let go of women he should have married in his 20s and made terrible decisions in his 30s... so this should be interesting.

Michael, 34.

Richard, 62.

Motivational Speaker, NSW.

At 62 years old, Richard has three children and an ex-wife to whom he was married for 27 years. He even dated a woman afterwards, who was 27 years his junior, but they broke up when she expressed a desire for children. 

We're not sure how Richard is gonna go on MAFS, but we're excited to find out.

Simon, 39.

Marketing Manager, SA.

Simon was married for most of his 20s until right before his 30th birthday, when he came out as gay to his family and friends. Together, he and his ex-wife maintain a great relationship and continue to parent their teenage son.

Tim grew up in Darwin and lived in Melbourne, Thailand, Colombia and Bali before settling down in the Gold Coast, which he now calls home.

He's an entrepreneur who is passionate about helping people sort their money.
