1. Leaked footage shows two MAFS grooms having a wild night out and… wow.

This is rather *ahem*  juicy.

This week saw the return of MAFS and the drama has started already. There’s a rogue incident in which a husband uses his wife’s toothbrush to clean poo stains in the toilet (but more on that later) however it’s the off-air stuff that we really need to talk about.

The Daily Mail has published leaked footage of grooms, Mikey Pembroke and Jonethen Musulin dancing on a table before being photographed in bed shirtless together. Wild, we know. An unseen female contestant can also be heard laughing in the background.

A source from the show has told the Daily Mail  that the “cast were looser than ever this season and were constantly partying in each other’s rooms once producers had gone home for the night.”

“Mikey and Jonethen became great friends and didn’t mind putting on a show (but it was all for a laugh).”

Four episodes into this season, we know that Mikey is married to financial analyst, Natasha Spencer, however, we’re yet to see who Jonethen is paired up with.

To be honest, we’d like to get the weddings over and done with so we can get on with the dinner party drama. It is what we’re here for after all.

2. Jameela Jamil has come out as queer amid backlash around her latest TV role.

Actress and body positivity spokesperson, Jameela Jamil has come out as queer.

The Good Place actress was recently criticised for her upcoming judging role on Legendary, a HBO Max series which involves ‘voguing competitions’. Although some may attribute the dance move to Madonna, it originated in the late 1980s from the Harlem ballroom scene in which ‘houses’ would compete against each other. The community is also synonymous with LGBTQI+ subcultures.

However, Jamil, 33, was criticised for her involvement in the show because it was believed it was culturally insensitive to cast a straight, heterosexual woman. Since then, Jamil has spoken more about her sexuality in a Twitter post, adding that it was “absolutely not how I wanted it to come out”.

“Twitter is brutal. This is why I never officially came out as queer. I added a rainbow to my name when I felt ready a few years ago, as it’s not easy within the south Asian community to be accepted, and I always answered honestly if ever straight-up asked about it on Twitter,” she wrote.

“It’s also scary as an actor to openly admit your sexuality, especially when you’re already a brown female in your thirties. This is absolutely not how I wanted it to come out.

3. In other MAFS news, Hayley has confirmed her husband David used her toothbrush to clean the toilet and we are done.

As we look back at all the weird and disgusting s**t that has happened on Married At First Sight, we think this might actually take the cake.

David Cannon (of Hayley and David) used his wife’s toothbrush to clean his poo off the toilet bowl, before putting it back in the sink for her to use. GROSS.

Up until now, we have seen some snippets suggesting this happened, but finally, we have confirmation.

Speaking to The 3pm Pick-Up, Hayley Vernon admitted that after their conversation about money on Thursday night, things quickly turned sour.

She shared that not only did David do such a revolting thing but he also filmed it to show the other grooms.

"It is real. It's repulsive. It's disgusting." Hayley said.

"Look, I can't tell you why. But it was a s**t thing to do, excuse the pun."

She continued, "You have to watch how the show plays out... By that action, it says more about David than it says about anyone.

"When you say, "I want a good orthodox relationship" or "I'm a good Christian boy" and you do something like that, you're kind of contradicting everything you're saying."

Lastly, she said, "It's abusive. That's what I said straight off the bat. That's what my dad said. That's what everyone said.

"And the fact that he filmed it… I don't understand it. It's vile."

Honestly, that's just awful and David can go now.

4. After five years and 10 seasons, the Jackson family have announced they’re leaving Gogglebox.

We have more reality TV news for you today, but this time something a little sadder: The Jackson family are departing from Gogglebox.

After being on the show for five years and 10 seasons, they have decided it's finally time to leave.

The Jackson family includes mum Stacey, dad Grant and their six children. They all appeared on the show during last year's season for the last time.

Sharing the news on Instagram this morning they said, "We as a family would like to say a big thank you for all the years we have had on Gogglebox. This show has changed our lives in many ways.

"We were able to do something unique and special together as a family and have loved every minute! To all the fans, thank you for embracing us. We will continue being a part of the Gogglebox family, only now it will be from the other side of the screen."

Despite them no longer being in it, Googlebox returns February 26.

5. An ode to Sex Education's Eric, the greatest character on TV right now.

There’s so much to love about Sex Education.

There’s the way it tackles tough topics, like sexual assault, sexuality and teen sex, with empathy, compassion and just the right amount of humour. There’s cringe-worthy awkward moments and plot twists. There’s the bizarre yet endearing fashion, and the way the show’s aesthetic of 80s-style clothing, vintage cars and modern technology makes precisely no sense. You guys, there’s even Gillian Anderson as a sex therapist.
