Congratulations! Logie winner Adam Dovile has just become a dad.

Many of us didn’t know who Adam Dovile was before this Sunday’s Logie awards, but we sure do now.

Having kicked off his television career from humble beginnings – as a contestant on the reality renovation show House Rules – to winning a silver Logie for best new talent, Dovile’s rise to fame has been meteoric.

And now, the Better Homes and Gardens builder has shared the most wonderful news: The safe arrival of his first child, a baby girl, with wife Lisa.

“Absolutely over the moon with the arrival of a baby GIRL!” Dovile told his 12,000 followers, adding “she is perfect in every way to us”.

While the couple seem to be keeping mum on their little girl’s name, Dovile assured his fans that both “Mum & bubs are doing well”.
