It’s for precisely this reason we asked our Mamamia You Beauty Panel members to road test French natural beauty brand L’Occitane‘s luxe new skincare trio for plump, juicy skin.

Described as smelling like “frolicking in a green meadow somewhere in the south of France on a summer’s day”, the L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Enriched Water, Immortelle Reset Serum and Immortelle Precious Cream are formulated to help you wake up with hydrated, revitalised, more healthy-looking skin.

These products are packed with highly effective ingredients like hyaluronic acid, rose floral water and iconic and L’Occitane’s iconic, powerful antioxidant Immortelle Oil Extract, which together work to hydrate the skin and combat the first signs of ageing (if that’s what you’re after, of course).

So, what did our You Beauty Panel think after trialling the trio of products? Of the 46 women who tried all three products, 45 would recommend them to a friend. Here’s what six Youbies had to say about the L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Enriched Water, Immortelle Reset Serum and Immortelle Precious Cream.

Megan: “I saw results after three to four nights.”

Age: 25-34.

Skin Type: Combination.

Beauty concerns: Fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles, uneven skin tone and dehydration.

Would recommend this product: Yes.

"I have LOVED the Immortelle L’Occitane range. The smell is divine and instantly calms you while leaving your skin fresh and plump. It is not overpowering at all and leaves a nice fresh scent as a private treat to your senses. The texture of the products are next level - I have especially loved the Enriched Water. The Immortelle Reset Serum - what a difference it has been making. My skin looks rejuvenated and my pesky lines have become less noticeable (I’m due for a Botox top-up).

"I could bathe in the Immortelle Precious Cream, it's sent straight from the gods' own garden. The cream is rich and smooth and leaves my skin glowing before bed. This range has been very easy to integrate into my daily skincare and I am hooked now. I saw results after three to four nights and I think everyone could use this product because it is gentle on my skin, yet highly effective. Buy it, add it into your skin care rotation, love the results! That’s the best advice I have right now. I will be purchasing some for my mother for Christmas!"

Nadia: "Finding products that don’t make my skin flare up is a constant search. This was a true win."

Beauty concerns: Uneven skin tone, puffiness, enlarged pores and dryness.

Would recommend this product: Yes.

"I started using these products while going through a bout of contact dermatitis from a new sunscreen I tried, so I was worried to say the least. Happily, it didn’t make my reaction flare up any more than it was, which is a huge plus for me. Trying to find products that don’t make my skin flare up is a constant search. I replaced my usual routine with the three products - I used the Enriched Water after I cleansed, followed by the cream and lastly the serum.

"Initially, I used too much of the products, just a pea-sized amount is enough. With my dermatitis, the Enriched Water made my skin tingle, which made me nervous, but didn’t lead to any reactions. The cream was heavier than I thought it would be and by looking at it, I thought I would only use it at night. But it absorbed into the skin so easily that I ended up using it during the day as well.

"The range is super easy to use, and if you use all products, it's almost a complete regime. The packaging for all three products is also lovely, they all have a weighty feel. My skin felt softer and a little plumper after just two days of using the range. The fact it didn’t make my skin flare up means I can recommend it to those with super sensitive skin as well. A true win!"

Susan: "In the morning, my skin looked very plump and juicy."

Beauty concerns: Pigmentation, sun damage, enlarged pores and scarring.

Would recommend this product: Yes.

"I think these are good general products that help your skin overall if you aren't looking to target anything too specific. I like that these products can easily be slipped into my skincare routine with my existing products that do target my specific concerns. I noticed that in the morning after using them at night, my skin looked very plump and juicy and smooth. Definitely hydrated my skin in a noticeable way.

"The products smelled divine! I am especially obsessed with the jelly texture of the toner! I loved applying this every day, it felt so calming. I applied this with my fingers as I felt like using something to apply it would soak it all up. I felt like this absorbed right away and had an instant plumping effect. I had initially thought the serum would be very oily but was pleasantly surprised when it all absorbed instantly. If you have oily skin like me, I would recommend using a different day cream, or use the Immortelle Precious Cream sparingly. But people with dry, dehydrated skin or normal skin could benefit from these products."

Eloise: "These products have done absolute WONDERS for my skin. It is glowing!"

Would recommend this product: Yes.

"Luxurious! All three of these are golden, they smell amazing without being irritating at all on my skin and they do what they say. They reset my skin in a week, my skin is so rejuvenated, bright and healthy looking!

"Personally, I find the Precious Enriched Water is fabulous for AM and PM, the serum for both AM and PM as well, but the cream I found was a little too heavy for my morning routine but has done wonders at giving my skin a great big hug every night. The range is great for anyone looking for a simple three-step routine that will enhance glow and promote healthy skin, or anyone who has damaged their skin's barrier and are looking at products to reset their skin in a simple way."

Christine: "They smell just like a summer's day in Provence."

"I have loved how well the products work together, they smell fantastic (just like a summer's day in Provence!) and in particular the Enriched Water was a surprise delight; a step I didn't know I needed, but am now loving!

"I was a little dubious as to how I would work these products into my existing regime initially, as I am pretty happy with the products and outcomes I have already been receiving. I'm a bit of a skincare buff with a well constructed routine but still found space for, and delight in, these products.

"I love that the Enriched Water now acts like a reset after my other actives I'm using (BHA, Vitamin C, Retinol) and I like the soothing feeling it gives my skin, almost neutralising in a way without affecting the effectiveness of my other products. I'd been wanting to add an oil to my night-time routine for a while now, and the Immortelle Reset has fallen into that category nicely; a great combo of an extra serum (because in my books, more is always better), and the addition of the oil for extra juicy goodness and hydration.

"The Cream then topped everything off as it has a luxurious feel, leaves my skin feeling dewy for hours after application, and importantly for me, mixes well with everything else to really feel like it's all been 'locked in'. Overall I'm happy with results so far. Again though, those smells!! I can imagine they might not be to everyone's tastes, but I'll say it again, I cannot help but picture myself frolicking in a green meadow somewhere in the south of France on a summer's day every time I use them, and that makes my heart sing!"

Lauren: "The serum is heaven."

"I decided to give these three products my full attention, so I completely got rid of all my other products so I could focus! I absolutely loved the experience of these three beauties! To be completely honest, they nearly lost me when I first applied the cleansing water. It felt like I was putting perfume on my face. The scent was really strong and some got in my mouth, which was an unfortunate experience for about five minutes after.

"BUT, despite the scent, after it dried, my skin felt amazing. I let it sink in a little and then applied the serum, which was HEAVEN!!! It was so light but felt luxe and the packaging felt super extra. Then to finish off....the night cream. I LOVE this product! The cream is thick, lush, scented (but not too much, unlike the water) but not too sticky. It sinks in well and made my face feel hydrated, plump and healthy.

"After three days of applying all products each night, I was lying in bed and no joke... I could feel the products working. My face was tingling, in not a harsh or sting-y way, but a lovely 'I’m working' way! I'm happy to say, the serum and cream will stay in my routine."
