With the royal wedding fast approaching, Australian journalists are setting up shop across London.

Although travelling abroad to cover major global stories is a career highlight for many reporters, there can be – like with many jobs – an unglamorous reality behind the scenes.

TV presenter Lisa Wilkinson has shared just what it’s like doing those early morning and late-night live crosses, posting a picture on Instagram from England.
