Survivor's Lee landed on a mag cover. Now, the other contestants are trolling him mercilessly.

41-year-old Lee Carseldine may not have won the title of Sole Survivor on the 2016 season of Australian Survivor, but he certainly won himself plenty of fans.

Despite losing to underdog Kristie Bennett on the show’s dramatic finale, Lee’s relationship with fellow contestant El Rowland and his passion for fitness has kept him firmly in the spotlight.

So much so, that this month, the former Australian professional cricketer is featured on the cover of Men’s Health magazine.

Despite describing the achievement as something he “thought was never possible”, Lee’s former castaways haven’t shied away from mercilessly trolling him online.

Magician and mentalist Matt Tarrant, who placed fifth on the show, posted his own version of Lee’s cover shot to Instagram.

“Here’s the other Survivor cover they strongly considered,” he wrote.

After writing cover lines like “100% Body Fat, Get It Now (Keep It Forever)” and “Money, Abs, Love, Collect ‘Em All!”, Matt admitted the magazine “probably went with the right choice” with Lee.

Luckily, Lee was able to see the humour in Matt’s post, writing a parody of his own in the comments.

“[Matt] is so hot right now he could take a crap, wrap it in tinfoil, put a couple fish hooks on it and sell it to Queen Elizabeth as earrings,” he wrote.

Lee’s new partner El was also amused by the post, writing, “This is the best”.

How is this trolling? It sounds like Matt is poking fun at himself, not Lee.

The definition of the word 'trolling' seems to have morphed into any sort of mildly negative comment directed at another person in an online setting now. It seems to share that definition with the words 'shaming', bullying' and 'abusing', it's getting ridiculous!
