With years of modelling, media and international pageant experience to her name, you’d assume Laura Dundovic is a whiz when it comes to buying and applying makeup. Normally we’d advise against making assumptions, but in this case it’s totally accurate.
“I’ve been modelling since I was 16, and my mum used to do modelling, so she taught me a lot of makeup stuff when I was younger — how to do it to suit you rather than what the trends are,” Laura, 27, told The Glow recently.

In fact, the presenter, former Miss Universe Australia and Nike+ Training Club ambassador does her own hair and makeup for the many flashy events she attends. Which is impressive, because she always seems to nail even the trickiest, mostly fiddly makeup looks. (Post continues after gallery.)

“I always watch makeup artists and buy the products they’re using or use the techniques they are,” she explains.
You could hardly blame Laura for wanting to keep all of this A-list insight to herself, but lucky for us this I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here survivor is of a sharing disposition.

So, without further ado, here are the three beauty products Laura Dundovic swears by — and one of them costs less than a week’s worth of takeaway lattes.
Compressed powder
"My biggest thing is to have a compressed, translucent powder. Just use it on your T-zone and it'll make your makeup last all day without caking up. There's a really great one you can get from Rimmel, that's a good cheap one."
Dundo, you had us at 'cheap'.
Buy it here: Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder ($12.95). And yes, that is $12.95.
Tinted moisturiser
"I've got Ultra Sensitive Tint from Dermologica, the tinted moisturiser. I love that for just a bit of colour and a great moisturiser."
Buy it here: Demalogica Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF30 ($52)
Tubing mascara
"I love the Kevyn Aucoin tubing mascara, which you can get from Mecca. It puts a tube around your lashes to stop them from breaking, and rather than rubbing off it peels off — so you'll never have black mascara down your face."
Buy it here: Kevyn Aucoin The Volume Mascara ($38)
