Lara Bingle has posted a new makeup-free selfie on Instagram – only this time, there’s no questionable white substance covering her face.
You may remember Lara attracted a bit of, well, ‘controversy’ a few weeks ago when she reminded us all of importance of sunscreen (which is, of course, a very valuable lesson). Only problem was, the white splotches that had been sprayed onto her skin reminded some people (…ahem) of other, non-sun-safety-related substances. But you can read more about that here.
Back to the selfie at hand; this time, the 27-year-old model is fresh-faced with a distinct 'beach hair, don't care' summer holiday vibe going on. Although part of Lara's job is to wear makeup well (and, when her impending beauty line launches, sell it very well), it's lovely to see her au naturel every now and then.
Now, we're not sure where Lara was when the photo was taken; whether she was there for work or pleasure; or whether her boyfriend/husband (who knows at this point?) Sam Worthington was responsible for taking it.
But we sure are jealous of how fun, carefree and WARM Lara looks. Considering she lives in the US now, there's every chance she's holidaying in some gloriously summery Northern Hemisphere location. The Hamptons, perhaps. Or California.
It's hard to look that radiant, happy and, well, alive when there's a stubborn layer of frost on your car window and wintry air blasting your face every time you step outside... anyone else suffering some serious cravings for summer here? Maybe if we all stare at Lara's face long enough, with the right amount of intensity, we can draw out some of that sunshine and a few fun holiday vibes. It's worth a try, anyway.
