Fans are waiting on the edge of their seats to see how Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will handle being reunited to promote the final installment of The Twilight Saga. But if you're hoping to see drama between these scorned lovers, Stewart thinks you'll be disappointed.
While supporting her new drama On the Road at the Toronto International Film Festival, Stewart opened up about the possibility of having to attend Breaking Dawn: Part 2 press conferences and premieres alongside Pattinson.
"We're going to be fine," she told the Associated Press. "We're totally fine."
Despite all of the negative press Stewart has endured since it was revealed in July that she had a tryst with married director Rupert Sanders, the actress has made public appearances to plug her new film — like Pattinson did last month to promote his drama, Cosmopolis.
The last time On the Road screened for audiences — at the Cannes Film Festival in May — Stewart was joined by Pattinson to celebrate the film's premiere. This time, Stewart braved the red carpet herself.
"We have been waiting for this thing to be unleashed for so long. It was sort of one of those situations where you just have to put yourself in your body and go appreciate the moment," the actress explained.
And Stewart, 22, said she felt the warmth of her loyal fans in Toronto.
"You expect a lot of people at a Twilight premiere, but showing up at an On the Road Toronto film festival screening and seeing that amount of people is absolutely, disarmingly amazing," Stewart told MTV News. "It felt pretty cool.
