They welcomed a baby just seven months ago — but now it’s over.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have split after nine years together.

E! News — which forms part of the network that airs the Kardashian family’s hit reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians — reports the long-term couple broke up over the Fourth of July weekend.

It’s reported Kourtney, 36, made the decision following years of Disick’s alleged substance abuse issues — and following photos emerging of 32-year-old Disick in Monte Carlo with another woman, fashion stylist Chloe Bartoli.

“Scott has been running around saying he’s single,” a source is quoted by E! news as saying. “Kourtney dumped him after she saw the pics [in Monte Carlo] and he hasn’t been home after a month-long party binge.”

PEOPLE reports ‘multiple sources’ claimed Disick — or ‘Lord Disick‘, as he refers to himself — had again been struggling with his alcohol addiction.

“He’s in a classic shame spiral right now. He knows he’s screwing up, and he knows what he needs to do,” one source allegedly said. “He has people telling him to go home and work things out, to stop this behaviour, to repent and to move forward. But he’s not doing it.”

The former couple welcomed their third child together, son Reign Aston Disick, in December. They also have a son Mason, five, and a daughter Penelope, who’s about to turn three on Wednesday.

News.com.au reports Disick has been absent from recent family outings including a family trip to Disneyland to celebrate Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North’s birthday.

E! news quotes a source as saying: “Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old.

“Kourtney has to do what’s best for the kids.”

Last month,Scott arrived at a nightclub in Montreal so inebriated he couldn’t be introduced to fans.

While he spent a stint in a Costa Rican rehab facility in mid-March, after five nights, he was pictured partying at nightclubs.

On Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott has also indicated a struggle with embracing his identity as a father.

After Koutney’s pregnancy announcement last season, Disick was shown on the show telling her: “You just keep suckering me into these kids. I can’t handle all of this responsibility.”

Kourtney and Scott met at a party in Mexico in 2006. They briefly separated in 2010, allegedly due to Scott’s alcohol issues.

While their relationship may have been rocky, we didn’t see this split coming so soon after the arrival of baby Reign.
