The 74-year-old, who is the oldest sovereign to take the throne, will be formally crowned on Saturday in a ceremony watched by millions.
Last month it was confirmed Prince Harry will attend the coronation without Meghan Markle, following months of speculation.
At the time, Buckingham Palace and a spokesperson for the couple confirmed Meghan would not attend the May event and instead remain in the United States with the couple's two children, Lilibet and Archie, who will turn four on the same day.
"Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey," the palace spokesperson said.
