I have written about my love of the Kardashians many times, but I’m the first to say we should probably not be taking medical advice from them.
Kim Kardashian can teach you many things.
How to take a good selfie. How to contour your way through life. How to pose nude with or without a baby inside of you.
But when it comes to medical advice, probably don’t look to the Kardashians for guidance.
In fact, just avoid Instagram/Social media in general really.
I feel like I shouldn’t need to say this, but with the news that the US government has had to review a post on Kim K’s Instagram about a miracle cure for morning sickness, it’s probably worth reiterating.
Kardashians: Good for light entertainment.
Doctors: Good for medical things.
The government has issued a WARNING LETTER to Eric Gervais of Duchesnay, Inc in regards to Kim’s endorsement of Diclegis.
Part of the letter reads, “The social media post is false or misleading in that it presents efficacy claims for DICLEGIS, but fails to communicate any risk information associated with its use and it omits material facts.”
