He’s arguably the most famous man by Kim Kardashian’s side. And no, we’re not talking about her husband Kanye West.
Bodyguard Pascal Duvier has worked with Kim and Kanye since 2012, making headlines recently for saving Kim from serial prankster Vitalii Sediuk who tried to kiss her famous behind.
Now, according to ET, the couple have let Duvier go as part of a complete security overhaul.
On the night Kim was held at gunpoint, gagged, thrown into a bathtub and robbed of $14 million worth of jewellery while staying in a luxury Paris apartment, Duvier was out with her sister’s Kourtney and Kendall.
While Kim and Kanye haven’t blamed the bodyguard for the incident, he has been let go in a massive ‘security overhaul’.
"Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye," a source told ET.
"It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances."
Just days after the robbery, Duvier deleted all traces of Kim and his work with the famous family from his social media accounts, in an effort to "avoid any further security breaches".
The source also revealed that Duvier will now be working with singer Fergie for her upcoming shows.
A month on from the robbery, Kim is taking it slow to returning to public life. She's rarely been photographed since the incident, but attended her sister Kendall's 21st birthday celebrations this week.
