It’s more heartbreaking news.
Kim Kardashian, 34 has undergone emergency surgery removing placenta from her uterus not long after being told she may have fertility issues in the future. The celebrity was told by her Doctor that carrying another baby may be too risky for her and that he recommended surrogacy if she were to have more children.
It has been reported that Kim and Kanye are trying for a second baby to build their family with North (22 months). The operation doesn’t necessarily mean that Kim will be able to have more offspring naturally.
Apparently Kris Jenner has suggested that Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian could be a surrogate.
This update comes after received some devastating news last week, in a clip for a preview of the upcoming episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians. The 34-year-old was told she may have issues with her fertility in the near future, and that her next baby may very well be her last. The celebrity was visibly crushed.
The clip showed Kim trying to get hold of her husband, Kanye West after getting back from the doctor. She told him that the fertility doctor told her there is a concern with her uterus, and she may have to have a hysterectomy after she has another baby.
“I feel like this Doctor, I just came from today, told me every worst case scenario… he said, when you have your baby this will be your last one because the problem is – your placenta grew on to your uterus,” she told Kanye on the phone.
She went on to explain that once she has her next baby, the placenta will move to a hole, and there will be a team of doctors waiting to put her in to emergency surgery, so as not to lose too much blood.
"I was like, okay, this is a little much...I was just sitting there, just crying. I said, 'wait you have to remove my uterus'?" Kim said on the phone.
Kim told the camera that when she was pregnant with North she used to say that no one could pay her enough money to go through it again, but admits that now there's nothing more she wants in the world.
"Now, there is nothing more on this earth that I would want than to be pregnant again," she said.
It's heartbreaking news for the Kardashian sibling, and something no young woman wants to hear. Kim seemed to handle it well but we feel her pain and hope she is able to have another healthy baby before going through the ordeal.
