Khloe Kardashian has called off her divorce to Lamar Odom.
According to E! News, the 31-year-old’s lawyer went to court yesterday and asked the judge to withdraw the couple’s divorce papers, which have been pending since July.
The news comes two days after Lamar was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles to continue his treatment following a drug overdose last week that left him in a medically induced coma.
The reality star released her first statement yesterday, a week after the 35-year-old ex NBA player was found found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel:
“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!”
The couple, who were married just a month after meeting in 2009, filed for divorce in September 2013, but didn’t sign the papers until July of this year.

Following their separation, Kardashian has dated rapper French Montana, and most recently basketball player James Harden, 26, but TMZ reports she’s put the relationship on hold to care for Odom.
Kardashian has been with her estranged husband since his collapse.

Because Khloe and Lamar were still married when he was in hospital, she was still his next of kin and able to make medical decisions for him. I would assume that is the primary reason for withdrawing the divorce papers now is so she can continue to do that if it's necessary, while he recovers. It makes a lot more sense than assuming that they've already had a discussion about getting back together just days after he came out of a coma.
So she was divorcing Lamar because of his drug use and hard-partying ways and now she's called off the divorce because she still loves him, but he's recovering from a near-death experience with drug use and hard-partying ways???
Really? Khloe doesn't need Lamar, she needs a counselling session!
