1. Khloe Kardashian has been forced to apologise after she used an offensive slur while talking to Kourtney.
Khloe Kardashian has apologised to her followers after repeatedly using offensive language towards her older sister Kourtney on a recent Instagram live stream. The language was used when the two sisters were repeatedly unable to sync their phones before their personal training session.
Fans of the 39-year-old were the first to keep the new mum accountable.
“I was watching your livestream on Instagram until you said the ‘r’ word. You should pay more attention to your word choices especially since you have a huge following & don’t know who you could be offending, if True had a disability you would use a different word. @khloekardashian,” tweeted one fan.
Others commented that the comments were ‘repulsive.’
Luckily, Khloe Kardashian took the comments like a champ, immediately issuing a genuine apology on Twitter.
Like most women with a public image, Tracey Jewel is no stranger to trolling.
The former Married At First Sight contestant has copped criticism for pretty much everything – most recently her trip to Europe with her boyfriend and without her daughter Grace.
The 35-year-old said the comments had become so bad that she’s considering deleting her Instagram account.
In a post today she wrote: “I’ve always tried to take the higher ground and remained positive, avoiding the negativity, the fake media news and the trolls and from time to time I delete what I can.
“If I deleted all the trolls seriously it’s got so out of hand it would be a full-time job!
“So what to do now my beautiful followers.. do I delete my Instagram page altogether? Do I continue taking the higher ground?”
The reality star continued, explaining that the criticism takes its toll and has impacted her holiday.
“I don’t have a solution yet but I do want to let those who have been so loving and supportive know and thank you for your messages.”
Let’s hope she finds a way to get through it.
3. Miranda Kerr just shared a loaded throwback photo with Selena Gomez.
As is the trend with birthday wishes these days, model Miranda Kerr, 35, posted a photo of herself with birthday girl Selena Gomez, 26, to wish her a happy one yesterday.
But this wasn’t just any photo of the friends. The keen eyes at Yahoo noticed this was actually a pretty important photo of the pair (in terms of celebrity gossip).
The snap was taken of the two hugging at Louis Vuitton’s spring collection launch in 2015.
Just a year prior, there were rumoured to be tensions between the two for their brief flings with each other’s exes – Miranda was rumoured to have dated Justin Bieber, while Selena was linked to Orlando Bloom.
However, this hug officially ended rumours that the pair were feuding. And while we can’t possibly know the story behind the photo, it very well could be that it was the day the two women decided to put their sore feelings towards each other behind them.
4. The rumour that has the Queen fuming.
The Queen was reportedly upset and angry after a distressing rumour swept across the internet this weekend.
Another day, another rumour about a celebrity passing away. Over the weekend, it was - once again - Prince Phillip who had apparently died. Despite the report being entirely fake news, according to The Sun, the Buckingham Palace switchboard was overwhelmed with concerned calls, which sources said left the Queen “absolutely fuming”.
Sources say that the Queen was very distressed by having to deal with such rumours about her husband of 70 years, and the couple was forced to discuss the matter to determine how best to handle it.
“They both agreed there was little they could do but they are very, very annoyed,” a royal source said, according to The Sun.
“It’s not nice to hear people the world over commenting on your health or death."
The Queen, 92, is holidaying in Balmoral, while Philip is at Sandringham. She was alerted to the claims not how the rest of us were - via Twitter, but when staff started asking how her the Prince was.
5. The story behind Kathy Griffin's ongoing feud with Ellen DeGeneres.
It turns out Kathy Griffin and Ellen DeGeneres are not the best of friends.
The comedian and talk show host have been feuding on and off for years.
According to 57-year-old Griffin, who has spoken about their relationship during her Laugh Your Head Off world tour, their biggest disagreement was about fellow comedian, Joan Rivers, who died in 2014.
“One of the things that really hurt Joan, and we talked about it at our last meal together, was that Ellen always shunned her and Ellen thought she was vulgar and not funny,” Griffin said during the show, according to Page Six.
