There may be more Home and Away babies soon. Yes please.

If Kate Ritchie gets her way that is.

Ok, so Kate Ritchie may not be on Home and Away any more but after growing up watching her, she’ll always be a Summer Bay girl to us.

The 36-year-old radio personality has just opened up about wanting to expand her family, saying that she hopes to have a big family one day.

There’s been rumours circulating that Ritchie is ready for a second baby already and so the Australian personality addressed those at Fitzy and Wippa’s Ultimate Dinner Party on Monday night. She admitted that she definitely wants more kids – to have siblings for her daughter, Mae.

But the former Home and Away star told The Daily Mail Australia that she's in no rush to add to her family.

"I've never denied the fact that we'd like to have a big family, so that will happen in due course," she told the Australian publication.

She spoke about the pressure to have more children that every new mum goes through, saying that once you have one child everyone is very quick to jump on you and ask when you're expecting the next.

"It's like you have baby number one and everyone's asking questions about baby number two," she told The Daily Mail Australia.

Earlier this month, Kate Ritchie attended the Logies. She looked radiant and seems to be handling the working mum gig that she's juggling.

We look forward to hearing a baby announcement soon.

What do you think about the pressure of a second baby straight after having baby number one?
